When I saw Farkas addressing this art of the Masks with a contemporary look, I thought: this is what we need, to show that these manifestations are not a thing of the past. It is a current and pulsating act. It is culture, and must be preserved in a lively and dignified way.

The Masks were the inspiration for this museum, they are the soul of this museum, because the art that comes from Maragojipe is an art that cannot be lost in any way.
